Winn and Coales new design box packaging for Densostrip Culvert Sealant

The correct sealing of box converts, chamber rings and manhole rings is sometimes over looked when collecting these products from the builders merchants. In consequence the new packing box is a visual reminder on the shelf to make contractors aware and reinforce this message to the merchants counter staff.

The new packing reinforces the message that Densostrip must be used to comply to all the latest and relevant standards. Also, with the trusted Denso name the box complements the previously launched Denso Tape box which has been a success for both Winn and Coales (Denso) and the Merchant. The updated design of the Densostrip boxes features a distinctive new logo that makes use of the recognisable Denso Insignia and acts as a mark of the brands history and quality. The company’s Queen’s Award for Enterprise logo is also featured on the packaging, along with the Made in Britain marque. The use of the signature Denso blue paired with a vivid magenta gives the containers a fresh, modern aesthetic that has a particular striking visual appearance: it’s not just another brown box.

Densostrip is a compound rubber and bitumen joint sealing strip for sealing the joints of precast concrete units to provide a permenantly flexible watertight seal when compressed between joint faces previously primed with Densostrip Primer. This enables an effective seal for precast concrete box culverts, manholes, inspection chambers, shafts, tunnels and pipe sections.

Densostrip concete joint joint sealing strip is resistant to chemical and biological attack. Recommended by precast concrete manufacturers, when used with Densostrip Primer it meets BSEN 1917:2002 requirements for manholes (no need for concrete surrounds).
