Wilo named Pump Manufacturer of the Year

Wilo has been named manufacturer of the year in the Pump Industry Awards 2019, held at the Heythrop Park Resort, Oxfordshire. The 2019 Awards event was hosted by TV and Radio’s Penny Smith, the current presenter of Weekend Breakfast on Talkradio. It’s a prestigious award last won by the company back in 2011, although they have won awards for different categories most years since then.

In addition to winning the Manufacturer of the Year award for 2019, Wilo was shortlisted in three other categories this year. Interim Managing Director Andy O’Brien says performing well in these awards is vital to the business: “It’s always good to be recognised amongst your peers and competitors and these awards recognise the very best in the pump industry here in the UK.

“It’s been a challenging year for everyone in the sector and it’s a huge credit to the pump industry that the quality of entries this year was so high.
