Wavin’s ‘Gear Up With Hep2O’ competition returns

Wavin, the UK’s leading manufacturer of plastic piping systems, has fired the starting gun on its annual ‘Gear Up With Hep2O’ competition, and the prizes are bigger than ever. What’s more, the contest has perks on offer for participating merchants as well.

Running for 10 weeks from the 11th September, Gear Up offers installers the chance to restock their toolboxes by winning a different prize every week, from combi drills and ladders, to a DAB site radio. In the final week, one lucky tradesperson will also be awarded the ‘Ultimate Gear-Up Bundle’ of fantastic tech, gadgets and gear worth £5,000.

To be in with a chance of winning, installers need to pick up a ticket at their local participating merchant and register their unique ticket numbers on the Gear Up website. Every installer who registers online will automatically receive an instant win prize – the new Hep2O SmartCut pipe cutter, not yet on sale! – while stocks last.

Gear Up doesn’t just reward installers, however, it offers something for merchants supporting the event as well. Each week, the store supplying the winning installer ticket will receive £250. Plus, throughout the competition, there will be a weekly £100 ‘Pizza Friday’ voucher for the outlet that submits the best selfie showing off its Gear Up display.

Karen Stables, Marketing Manager for Hep2O at Wavin, explained: “Last year’s Gear Up was a great success, and this time round it’s going to be even better, with bigger and more fantastic prizes up for grabs for both installers and merchants.

“With merchants’ help, we can get the word out about the competition and make sure Gear Up goes off with a bang, and helps installers not only ‘gear up’ their toolboxes, but get access to the latest and greatest gadgets and tech for their homes too.”

‘Gear Up with Hep2O’ runs from Monday 11 September to Sunday 19 November 2017.
