Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
David Wigglesworth, managing director of security solutions providers Adams Rite, has been appointed to the same role at Union.
The two businesses are being brought together at the new Adams Rite and Union headquarters in Wolverhampton, although they will remain as two independent companies within parent company ASSA ABLOY UK.
The two companies will be run by two distinct teams under one roof and Wigglesworth’s role will be to harness the strengths of each organisation to help with the continued growth and development of both brands.
Wigglesworth says: “Customers will benefit from increased economies of scale and a dedicated combined customer services team who will offer the highest level of technical expertise in all the products we now provide. I personally welcome the challenge of managing another business and look forward to helping both Adams Rite and Union maintain and build on their sector leading positions.”
