Top turnover for timber company

Timber importers, Premier Forest Products have bucked the trend for flat sales by reporting record turnover for the past year.

The company’s latest filed accounts show a sales increase of more than 20% to £38.3m from £31.7m in the previous year.

Premier Forest have also employed nine new members of staff for their sales teams in Birmingham and Newport in order to meet the increased demand.

Director Nigel Williams said, “The industry has been through a tough year, with many of our competitors disappointed by their current sales performance. At Premier we are lucky that we seem to have hit upon a winning formula, and sales figures are at their highest yet.”
