South Coast Building Supplies, member of independent builders merchant buying group h&b, has joined the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
Formed in August 2008, South Coast Building Supplies is now one of the leading independent merchants operating across Dorset and Hampshire. With 75 members of staff, the company currently trades from four depots in Southampton, Bournemouth and Andover.
Tim Payne, MD of South Coast Building Supplies, who has been with the company since its formation, said: “We have grown our business by building a team of knowledgeable and approachable staff who provide great service. The professionalism of BMF training from apprenticeships through to management courses will undoubtedly benefit our business as we enter our second decade of trading and the next stage of our development.”
