Selco reaches milestone of 60th branch opening

Selco Builders Warehouse has opened its 60th branch in York, marking a milestone in the company’s fast paced expansion.
 

The York branch further strengthens Selco’s presence in Yorkshire, where it currently operates in Bradford and Leeds. York features the full Selco offering, including Selco Hire and a comprehensive kitchen design service.

Howard Luft, Selco’s new chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have strengthened our presence in Yorkshire by cutting the ribbon on our new branch in York. We pride ourselves on being able to provide comprehensive coverage nationwide and we are bringing Selco’s unique offering to as many tradespeople as possible.

“We are a one-stop shop for the trade and always put our customers first. As a genuine multi-channel builders merchant we want to give them the chance to get their building materials in the most convenient way possible to them.”

Selco will also be opening a new branch in Milton Keynes next month as it continues to seek new locations for branches.

The launch of the York branch has also seen Selco continue its support to the community by giving away £3,000 to charities in each area.

With hundreds of trade brands always in stock and open seven days a week, Selco York is firmly focused on helping local tradespeople complete their jobs as quickly and effectively as possible.

As well as offering trade services, Selco Hire and a café in branch, Selco also has a strong digital presence including a 30 minute Click & Collect service and a free Project List app which allows tradespeople to plan, manage and quote for all jobs through their smartphone.
