With more than 20 years’ experience in the bathroom and plumbing sector, managing major accounts for manufacturers such as Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks and Grohe, Brand has grown Salamander’s national account business significantly since his appointment in 2015.

In his new role as National Sales Manager, Brand will report into Sales and Marketing Director, Chris Vallance, as Salamander’s business continues to grow, the need to manage and motivate a high performing sales team continues.

Brand said: “Our recent growth at a national level has been a team effort, and the support from the business has been invaluable in helping us to exceed our targets.  In my new position, as the demand for Salamander Pumps continues to grow, my focus will be to ensure the sales team is working to maximum efficiency.

“Our customers deserve the best quality and service from a market leading manufacturer, and I will be ensuring we deliver that quality consistently and stay one step ahead of the ongoing market challenges we face on a regular basis.

“It has, and will be very much a team effort – I believe that success should be shared, which demonstrates we are the best at what we do and keeps us all motivated to keep striving for more.”

Chris Vallance, Sales and Marketing Director at Salamander Pumps, adds: “Adam has been a great addition to the team here at Salamander and we are confident that he is the ideal candidate to take the Sales team to the next level as we continue to innovate and push the boundaries in the market. The majority of our shower and whole house pump range has recently achieved the international Quiet Mark status – a significant achievement for the brand – and our continued commitment to noise reduction and innovation will see some exciting developments over the next few years.”
