Polypipe helps duck to get mobile

duck

Polypipe pipes and fittings have been used by a primary schoolteacher to build  a wheelchair/walking-frame for her pupils’ injured pet duck.

St Stephen’s CE Primary School in Willington had a number of pet duckings but when one of them fell ill, she – although her name is Jimmy – was taken in by the school’s business manager Mrs Wilson who, as a keen crafter, created a special walking frame and harness out of Polypipe fittings.

Jimmy is now able to be transported round the school by pupils.
