Gibbs & Dandy helps hospice refurbishment

Builders merchant chain, Gibbs and Dandy, sister company to Jewson and Graham, has donated products for a hostel that provides shelter and training services for unprivileged and vulnerable people in Luton.


One of six locations run by the Mary Seacole Housing Association, the facility held a successful open day to celebrate its recent National Lottery Fund award and renovation. Gibbs & Dandy supplied the paint for the revamp.

The Mayor of Luton, Councillor Don Worlding, as well as volunteers, staff and residents attended the open day, held on 24th February, and were given guided tours of the vibrant new hostel.

Tania Tams, marketing director for Gibbs & Dandy, said: "Gibbs & Dandy prides itself on its closeness to its local customers and the community. Supporting initiatives, like the hostel refurbishment, is one of the many ways each of our individual branches take a responsible role in its community.
