Parker opens 11th branchSussex-based independent builders merchant Parker Building Supplies has opened a new branch Tonbridge, Kent.
Shop window: Parkers' new branch brings together kitchens, bathrooms and joinery for the first time.
The new premises is on Tonbridge High Street, the first time that the merchant has taken such a prominent retail unit. It includes a kitchen, bathroom and joinery showroom and studio.
Up until now Parkers, members of buying group NBG LLP, have had to site the Parker Kitchens, Parker Joinery and Parker Bathrooms in separate trading estate units.
The 3000 sq ft. showroom means the company can promote its more usually trade-oriented timber, heavyside and landscaping products to a much broader customer base. The aim is to offer tradesmen, selfbuilders and DIY enthusiasts a comprehensive choice of building products.
The manager of the new branch is Matt Hollamby, who is joined by kitchen and
bathroom designers Stephanie Goodfellow and Amy Lee, whose mission is to
provide clients with high end ranges at trade prices.
The showroom features displays from Parker Kitchens' boutique ranges, which include a choice of 120 door styles, 52 carcass options and 200
Parker Bathrooms - the latest brand for the company - specialises in high quality bath and shower suites, taps and sanitaryware at wholesale prices.
Parker Joinery offers a large selection of doors, windows, staircases, flooring and ironmongery.
