Vaillant spend two million on TV ads
Boiler manufacturer Vaillant is investing £2million in a high profile nationwide TV advertising campaign.
Vaillant take the high efficiency message to the householder
The campaign has a clear and focused message of saving householders over a third on their heating bills while also reducing their carbon footprint. The 30-second advert will be broadcast between February and April 2010, across commercial terrestrial and digital channels, including ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
Dave Lacey, Vaillant's commercial director said: "As manufacturers, Vaillant is dedicated to raising awareness of the range of efficient heating renewable energy solutions available to householders across the UK.
"The purpose of this campaign goes beyond merely promoting our range of quality solutions; our goal is to raise awareness and improve end user knowledge of the heating and renewables market as a whole. Vaillant is passionate to stimulate market growth and help to build a low carbon future; while involving as many as our partners who share our values in promoting the financial and environmental benefits of selling high efficiency heating and renewable technology products to every home in the UK.
"This campaign is great news for everyone in the industry, as we further invest in activities which will increase householder's awareness and interest in heating systems, in turn generating additional sales and profit for our installer and merchant partners."

Yeah I can't believe there haven't been more complaints to be honest. No-one really seems to care if it's men who are victims of sexism but if it's a woman all hell breaks loose

Imagine an advert for a power tool or an electronic gadget saying - "so simple, even mum can use it". The advert would be taken off the air within minutes! Why the double standard?

Pity the advert is sexist against men!
