During the 2007/8 season alone, O'Neill sent out 106 winners earning his owners over £1m in prize money and since arriving at Jackdaws Castle in Gloucestershire in 2001, his horses have earned their owners more than £10m.

Lindsey Walker, marketing services director at Jewson, says: "There are a number of parallels between Jewson and Jonjo O'Neill Racing. Like Jewson, O'Neill is committed to being a leader in his field and his successes throughout the 2008/9 season are testament to this. Furthermore, Jewson's partnership with the stable has been well received by our customer base and we look forward to building on the relationship we have already developed. On behalf of everyone at Jewson, I wish the team all the best for the 2009/10 season."

O'Neill adds: "The team at Jackdaws Castle is extremely fortunate in that it continues to receive overwhelming support from both the public and our sponsors, who have shown a great commitment and belief in all that we do. Jewson's involvement as Jackdaws Castle's official yard sponsor has been a huge benefit to us and we're looking forward to the challenges that the 2009/10 season will undoubtedly bring."

Previous riding highlights for O'Neill include winning the Champion Hurdle on Sea Pigeon and the Gold Cup on mare Dawn Run. He has also trained renowned winners such as Albertas Run, Blackjack Ketchum and the wonderful, much missed, Exotic Dancer.

Gloucestershire-based Jackdaws Castle, a five-star stables boasting a suite of luxury training facilities, includes an indoor school, solariums, equine pool, horsewalkers and a 500 acre turnout paddock to ensure that O'Neill's horses are trained to perfection.
