NEW OPERATIONS DIRECTOR FOR KUDOS

Paul Booth has been appointed to the role of Operations Director for Cumbria manufacturer, Kudos Showering Products.  He joined the company in August last year as Operations Manager and after a busy few months implementing many workflow improvements for the business, he has been promoted into this Director role.

Booth joins the business after many years experience in operational roles with both FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. His work since joining Kudos has seen all shower tray production move to their Northern Ireland facility and finished goods move to a new 40,000 sq ft expanded wareouse facility situated two miles down the road from their production unit.

“My role is all about making continual improvements for the business.” said Booth. “Improvements in site productivity, current processes and methods of working are important to drive OTIF (On Time In Full) deliveries and an overall better customer experience.  This alongside environmental and health & Safety improvements.  In my previous roles I’ve helped develop a continuous improvement culture within businesses which yielded some great results from an operations and people development perspective, something we are keen to replicate at Kudos.”

Kudos was established at their Cumbria facility in 1999.  Their product portfolio includes shower enclosures, shower trays, over-bath screens and wet-room solutions sold via bathroom showrooms and merchants across the UK.
