More power for Ryobi One Plus range

The One Plus range from Ryobi, their flexible cordless tool system, now has added power thanks to the incorporation of lithium-Ion technology.

More power for Ryobi One Plus range

The new battery delivers more run time, less weight, twice the performance and is environmentally friendlier than the existing 18v NiCad batteries.

All 24 Ryobi One Plus power tools and seven lawn and garden tools are compatible with both the new One Plus Lithium-Ion battery and the existing One Plus 1.7Ah NiCad battery, enabling customers to choose the power option which is best for them.

Ryobi have also expanded their range of One Plus power tools for 2008 with the launch of three new products: a wet/dry canister vac, a new drill/driver, and a starter kit with lithium-Ion battery.

Ryobi commercial director Tim Stainton said: “Ryobi prides itself on being one step ahead of the power tools market by driving innovation and constantly delivering new products to the category.

“The introduction of the Lithium-Ion battery option to the Ryobi One Plus range is our strongest market offer to date, delivering exactly what consumers are demanding to grow the market further.”
