Methven strengthens team with new appointments

Methven has responded to business growth with the appointment of a Sales Manager for the South West and Wales, and a new National Specification Manager for Housebuilders.

Patty Taylor will oversee the company’s sales activity across the key locations of the South West and Wales, in what is a newly created position for Methven.

Joining the company from the Development and Environment department of North Somerset Council, Taylor brings with her a wealth of experience in water and environmental analysis and is keen to promote the water saving credentials of Methven’s products. In addition to having held sales roles since 1999, Patty also has a background in chemical engineering.

Jeremy Wilmot joins Methven as the company’s new National Specification Manager for Housebuilders and will be responsible for influencing the products which are selected by housebuilders for a large variety of projects. Wilmot previously held a Business Development Manager role at high quality sanitaryware supplier Premier Contract Supplies, and spent five years as Area Sales Manager at ceramics manufacturer Porcelanosa.

Martin Walker, CEO at Methven UK, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Patty and Jeremy to the Methven team. With their sales experience, knowledge of the bathroom industry and environmental credentials, they represent a perfect fit for the company and we believe their appointments will help to ensure our water efficient, stylish products reach an even wider audience.”
