Merthyr Rugby Football Club’s under 13s team has received a welcome boost from local business Scott Parnell in a new sponsorship deal for the 2018/19 season.
The groundworks and civil engineering suppliers’ sponsorship will help to support the players and their families. A new kit has been issued to the team, displaying Scott Parnell’s logo.
Lindsey James, Team Manager at Merthyr RFC, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Scott Parnell as first-time sponsors, for what promises to be an exciting year. Last season saw the team get to the semi-finals of the ‘Cardiff Blues Cup’, and this time we’re already off to a brilliant start with two massive wins, including a very convincing triumph over one of the favourites.’’
