Jewson gives away £40K to customers

Builders’ merchant Jewson has given away £40,000 in cash to builders across the UK as part of the Jewson Big Cash Giveaway.

All customers needed to do to enter the competition was to spend £100 in a Jewson branch or £500 on delivery. Four branches were selected at random and all of the qualifying customers from that branch won a share of £10,000.

One of the winners of the competition, Alan Robinson of AFS Development LTD, picked up his winnings at the Beverley branch. He said: “I’m very excited about this because I don’t win much in my life and I’m always working. I’m probably going to spend this on my grandchildren. I might also buy the branch manager a pint!”

Clare Harding, marketing services director, commented on the competition: “We’re always looking for ways to reward our hard-working customers and it was a great feeling to be able to give so many builders a reward just before Christmas to thank them for their loyalty.”
