HPS open 20th branch

HPS, the plumbers merchants, have opened their 20th branch since they started business in 2001.

HPS open 20th branch

The branch in Sittingbourne, is the heating and plumbing supplies company’s fourth in Kent, with others already in Gillingham, Maidstone and Dover.

The Sittingbourne branch is managed by Tony West and situated on the Trinity Trading Estate in the town. It’s opening follows the company’s 19th branch, in Epson earlier this year.

Sales director Peter Wilson says that sales are holding up nicely, partly because their exposure to the new housebuilding market is limited. “We reported turnover of £28m last year, we are expecting to see £31m this year,” he told buildersmerchantsjournal.net. The new branches have contributed to some of the turnover growth, he added.
