Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Hevey Building Supplies, the Northampton-based merchant that’s part of the Lords Group, has acquired Huntingdon Timber Ltd.
Operating from St Peter’s Road Industrial Estate in Huntingdon since 2004, Huntingdon Timber was owned by David Biddle, Patricia Reynolds & Stuart Bradley.
Hevey managing director, Mark Mulvey said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to acquire this well-established business from its retiring owners. Huntingdon Timber has great staff and loyal customers, a reputation for great service and a comprehensive stock holding. We’re really looking forward to developing the Hevey brand in Huntingdon – a thriving area with an excellent transport network.”
