Green deal consultation launched

Published: 23 November 2011
The department for Energy and Climate Change has released its Green Deal consultation and is inviting responses from interested parties.
DECC says it would like to hear from a wide range of stakeholders including, in particular, organisations with an interest in operating within the proposed framework, and members of the general public who might be considering investing energy efficiency.

The results of the consultation will help inform the next round of legislation on both the Green Deal and ECO (energy company obligation - the replacement for the CERT scheme).

There will be a number of stakeholder-led events in England, Scotland and Wales during the consultation period as well as sector specific workshops.
The consultation document is here and DECC would prefer responses to be made online, via this link: DECC Green Deal
