Eurocell Profiles have won a prestigious Derbyshire Business Award from a shortlist of four finalists. The award was presented at a gala dinner at Chatsworth House earlier this month.
A panel of judges assessed businesses using a number of criteria including: business growth, leadership style, employee involvement and empowerment, strategic alliances with customers and suppliers and new production techniques.
Eurocell impressed the judges with their expansion in a competitive market – growing consistently, year-on-year for the past 12 years. Plus, more than £64m has been invested in the business over the last eight years, which has led to improved production capabilities, reduced delivery lead times and provided a stream of new product innovations.
Eurocell md David Leng, who received the award, said: “We were extremely pleased to receive this award as it recognises the drive, passion and commitment of all the people within Eurocell who have achieved some phenomenal results in a very tough market. Everyone likes to be on a winning team and we are really excited about what the future holds for our business.”
Eurocell received the winner’s trophy plus £10,000 worth of professional advice from the awards sponsors – KPMG, Geldards, DET and Lloyds TSB.
