Hargreaves warms to Knauf top job

Knauf Insulation has announced that Neil Hargreaves, the company’s former finance director, has been appointed managing director.

In his new role, Hargreaves will be responsible for strengthening the company’s leading position in the mineral wool insulation industry. He takes over from John Sinfield, who is leaving to pursue a new opportunity outside the company.

Hargreaves said: “I’m delighted to take up this new role at such an exciting time for the mineral wool insulation market. “I’m looking forward to building on John’s work to make us the supplier of choice for all our customers across the region.”

Jean-Claude Carlin, Group CEO of Knauf Insulation, said “I am sure that Neil will continue the excellent work already taking place in the region, and lead it through the next phase of development. We would like to express our appreciation to John for his excellent work and leadership over the last nine years. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”
