Dallmer, the manufacturer of architectural drainage solutions for bathrooms, has appointed Wayne Hailstone as UK General Manager, who brings with him a diverse spread of experience in both direct and B2B sales roles, as well as the ability to develop new and existing business opportunities to close a sale.
Having worked as Senior Events Manager NATO HQ Norfolk, Virginia, USA, Hailstone then went on to act as Armed forces Career Advisor in the Ipswich Careers office, before joining the Royal Navy, from 1993 to 2006, where he was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and NATO Article 5 Medal.He describes himself as having: “A pragmatic approach to work with, a can do attitude, self-motivated and always willing to take on new challenges with a logical and methodical approach to tasks and objectives. Target driven individual with a unique background in varying roles ensuring tight deadlines are met and attention to detail is paramount.”
Since then, Hailstone has had a wide and interesting career, taking on roles as a car salesman and then marketing account manager – the latter role managing a turnover in excess of £3,000,000 and Hailstone being in charge of coordinating the training of 35 rental employees. From 2011 to the present date, he was the Business Development Manager North UK, Wales, Midlands, East Anglia, South East UK and London for Bosta UK, successfully selling water technology solutions for agriculture, drainage and swimming pools.
Overall, Hailstone’s enterprising and varied career will ensure that he brings with him an equally diverse range of experience to Dallmer – from effective people management to budget management, problem solving skills and project management.
