Within the last three years the company has had four successful candidates complete apprenticeships, of which three have successfully attained full time roles within the BMCo family, the other leaving to continue work within the construction industry.

Duncan Thomson, managing director, said: ‘We are very proud of the work we are doing to try and attract people to join the merchant industry, and to be able to help these young people achieve their goals and develop a career path for themselves is something we take great pride in’. This ongoing development is supported by the recent launch of a Graduate Programme, and as a company plans are in place to continue to support the development of staff within the company and the industry.
