Bradstone have scooped the Best in Show award at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show with their 600 Days With Bradstone garden.
Designed by Sarah Eberle, the garden represents a terrestrial space garden on Mars. It investigates how an astronaut would enrich their life when off duty, using plants to enhance their existence and to contribute to life support systems. It also explores how such an area could cheer up someone away from home.
Bill Bolsover, group chief executive of Bradstone parent Aggregate Industries, described the award as “the most powerful tribute and accolade to the teams of people across Aggregate Industries who worked together to make this garden perfect.”
He continued, “we’re indebted to Sarah for bringing us such an original garden concept to challenge our ingenuity and showcase both the versatility of our products and our design creativity.”
