Bradfords extends Chiefs sponsorship

South-west builders merchants Bradfords has extended its partnership with Exeter chiefs, the current Rugby Union Premiership champions, following a successful match sponsorship in 2016-17 and shirt sponsorship last season.

Bradfords are also taking on the individual sponsorship of Chiefs’ star and England back Henry Slade.

The Chiefs can trace their roots back to 1871 and Bradfords have been around since 1770. And this year, YPS, Bradfords’ Plumbing & Heating brand, joined up with Bradfords Building Supplies in the sponsorship agreement.

As well as featuring on the shirts, the Bradfords and YPS logos can be seen on match days on Sandy Park’s giant TV screens and signs around the ground. Bradfords are also looking forward to entertaining some of their customers at Sandy Park as match day sponsors this coming season.

Paul Malloy, Bradfords’ head of marketing said: “Partnering with the Chiefs for the third season in a row, a team at the absolute top of their game, makes us very proud and we are pleased to become part of a great success story. We both have a rich and deep South-West heritage and we also share the same core values: trust, longevity, family-friendliness and hard-work.”

Kai Horstmann, corporate account manager for The Exeter Chiefs, added: “We are very excited to be working with Bradfords. We share the same passion for our roots and values and are looking forward to achieving great things together on the national stage.”
