I'm going back onto my soapbox about the boiler scrappage scheme again. Bear with me, but there's been quite a lot of misinformation about it and I want to let off some steam.
So we got the boiler scrappage scheme in England. And judging by the rumours circulating around Twitter and the industry, we might be getting something similar for Wales and Scotland. Hurrah.
As usual it seems, Chancellor Darling's last Pre-Budget Report for this Parliament (possibly ever), was a mixed bag full of , well, not very much. I suppose you could call it another curate's egg.
Whoo Hoo! Permit me, if you will, to gloat, just a little over the fact that there will apparently be an announcement in the PreBudget Report later today of a Boiler Scrappage Scheme.
After the initial euphoria and excitement which I'm afraid I always get when I see someone I know on the telly, it struck me that the BBC TV programme in which PTS md Alan Ball appeared promoting the Boiler Scrappage Scheme fell prey...
At the risk of repeating myself from last week, it looks as though the idea of the scrappage scheme has caught the imagination.
